Why do we require Dog Flu Vaccination?
Canine Flu is a highly contagious viral infection that can make your pet very sick and in some cases can be life threatening. 100% of dogs are susceptible since no unvaccinated dogs have any immunity to this potentially fatal infection. The virus is spreading around the US and has been reported in 30 states including Arkansas and Oklahoma.
To ensure the health and safety of your pet we currently require all dogs be vaccinated if staying in our boarding facility. We highly recommend the vaccine for all other dogs including our bathing and grooming pets.
Fianna Hills Pet Hospital is committed to superior pet care and disease prevention. This will continue to be our policy until the CDC and the American Veterinary Medical Association deem this disease to be of minimal threat to your pet.
